Ohhh yeah. Sick sick sick. I have been sick with a freak stomach bug since MONDAY. I feel ok after Wednesday.. but every time I eat or drink I become immediately sick! :( It sucks. So needless to say I haven't really been watching what I eat this week.. and I have been indulging in the ginger ale. I can't keep much in my body at the moment, so I haven't gained anything but man, I feel so so gross.
Tomorrow I am going caving with my BESTIE :) Beth, and two of her friends that are certified "spelunkers" ....although I've been informed that spelunking is what drunken frat boys do and have to be rescued by real cavers... haha. Spelunking is just SO much more fun to say than caving! Spelunk, spelunk, spelunk! Yes.. I am saying it out loud as I type it. haha! I'm really excited, I can't wait to try it out. I hope that I don't feel sick tomorrow.
I will have out of town guests all next week- I look forward to figuring out ways to incorporate exercise into my week while they're here. I haven't been to the gym in weeks (a series of Olivia being suspended, Sophia being sick, me being sick.. on and on). I am actually going to cancel my gym membership next week.. since we will be out of town so much during the summer, there really isn't any reason for me to keep it. Hopefully by the end of summer our house will no longer be "our" house (come on.. buy it someone!) and we won't even live here anymore. I will also have to be careful of the food I eat next week.. because I want this more than anything.. I have to stop with the slip ups where food is concerned!
How do you stay on track when you have company.. without being insane toward them (not everyone wants to eat baked chicken and steamed veggies every day.. Olivia reminds me of that DAILY), while still enjoying yourself, and making the most fun? I know PREP IS KEY.
